Founded 1960

LN was founded 1960 from Günter Neumann and Willi Luigs. There goal was to develop and manufacture the finest mechanical tools for science and the industry.

Till 1982 LN developed for industrial companies prototypes. Like AEG, Siemens and Bosch.

At an industrial show we got contacted from MPI technology transfer department and got the development and manufacturing license for the In-Vitro perfusing system. The need to develop manipulators for positioning resulted in the first manipulators designed and manufactured by LN.

After a successful start and trustfully cooperation between us, we got the license to develop, produce and sell the Patch- Clamp- Tower according to Prof. Neher and Prof. Fernandez in 1985.

1991 we invented the Mini 25 manipulator and designed the world first brain slice shifting table and key ready systems.

1995 we developed one of the first ICSI systems in collaboration with Prof. Michelmann, Uni Göttingen.

The system was a successfully sold in Germany, Austria and the middle east.

In 2024 we developed a complete new ICSI system with joystick and tried to rethink what are the main obstacles in performing ICSI procedures.

We came up with our new system which get ride of manual oil/ air injectors or motorized oil filled systems.

Our innovative approach is to rethink everything. Do you really need an automatic system copying a human, or should we do things different in the future?
